This form is for current members to renew their membership. New members should contact uwc.leadership@gmail.com to receive the appropriate links. Please use the payment link in the renewal email you received.

Membership Sign-up form. The Utah Whitewater Club (UWC or the Club in this form) does not release names, contacts, or personal information of members without permission. UWC memberships will expire the same day as your ACA membership. A renewing current membership will have one year added to the existing expiration date.

Events have a limited number of participants that can register based on some combination of river characteristics, campsite availability, and volunteer load, with the goal of providing a safe and quality experience. We are currently using a first-come, first-serve basis where an online link will be available a few weeks before the trips, and registrations have been going quickly. Please be aware that you may not be able to sign up for every event that you would like. Email uwc.leadership@gmail.com with any questions.

Utah Whitewater Club Members (including minors) must also sign up separately for an ACA (American Canoe Association) Membership. The ACA currently charges $40 per person. The ACA payment is non-refundable. An ACA specific waiver is also required to attend any UWC Events. ACA provides liability insurance for the club and participants.

The Waiver Section - Member's mutual agreement for protection against liability. By filling out and submitting this form, I (party named in First and Last Name), desiring to join my fellow paddlers in the Utah Whitewater Club (the Club), declare that I fully understand and voluntarily accept the following risks of river running: 1. Boating on whitewater rivers exposes me to various life threatening hazards, known and unknown. For example: boulders and other obstacles, strainers, undercut or entrapping formations, souse holes and hydraulics, high water, cold conditions and ever changing conditions, mostly in remote locations. *

WAIVER/RELEASE FOR COMMUNICABLE DISEASES INCLUDING COVID-19ASSUMPTION OF RISK / WAIVER OF LIABILITY / INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT: In consideration of being allowed to participate on behalf of the club and related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that: Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and, I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe and any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS the Utah Whitewater Club their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (“RELEASEES”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law. *
