As you indicated your child does have their Lead Belay License from CityROCK, we would need to assign them to a suitable class with other children learning to climb harder and better. The below classes are available:

• Mondays from 5pm to 7pm (Leader and Intermediate Levels; ages 13 and older)
• Mondays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm (Leader and Intermediate Levels; ages 13 and older)
• Tuesdays from 5pm to 7pm (Leader and Intermediate Level; ages 13 and older)
• Tuesdays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm (Leader and Intermediate Level; all ages)
• Tuesdays from 5pm to 7pm (Intermediate to Advanced Level; ages 13 and older (boulder only class))

• Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 5:30pm (Leader to Intermediate Level; all ages)
• Thursdays from 3:30pm to 5:30pm (Leader to Intermediate Level; all ages)
• Tuesdays from 4pm to 6pm (Intermediate to Advanced Level; all ages (boulder only class))

Our classes are structured, meaning that we have a warm-up section, a climbing section involving alternating rope climbing and bouldering technique and safety measures, a strength and conditioning section and finally closing the class off with a stretch and flex section.

Kindly note that we would love for your child to join one of these classes as a free first class to gauge whether your child would like to continue with our classes. Please note though that Day Pass/Membership Fees to CityROCK and cost of Gear Rental from CityROCK will still apply for this once-off free class.

Leader Level Classes are R150 per two-hour session per child and are suitable for children who have just received their Lead Belay License from CityROCK and are leading below Grade 22 in the Gym.

Intermediate Level Classes are R170 per two-hour session per child and are for children leading Grade 23 and higher in the Gym.

Both are invoiced up front for the term. This does not include the CityROCK Day Pass or Membership Fees, nor does it include the CityROCK Gear Rental.
