Need a little help?
That's what we're here for!
The Peer Support Network Helpdesk is a completely confidential one-on-one service that is open to all graduate students in the IPN, regardless of your stage of training.
Our team is composed of fellow IPN graduate students who are trained in active listening, support skills, and general psychological wellbeing. The benefit of a peer based program is that our supporters share common experiences with those they support, and as students, have gone through many of the same situations themselves.
In addition, should there be the need to discuss any sensitive issues such as
supervisor-student relationships, student rights and responsibilities, leaves of absences or time off, or McGill grievance reporting and related procedures, this form will ensure that you can quickly reach helpful resources via our Advocacy Officers.
If you’d like to connect with an empathetic, understanding, and non-judgemental listener or need a helping hand with a sensitive matter, the Peer Support Network Helpdesk is there for you! Please use the following google form connect you to one of our supporters.
If you prefer contacting us through e-mail you can do so at

Keep well and know that we're here for you!NOTE: If you're looking for peer support from someone outside of your program, we recommend the PGSS peer support network:
