Welcome to CU HeartStart!

Heartstart is a national initiative set up by the British Heart Foundation which aims to teach Basic Life Support to the public. Our main goal is to go to schools, colleges, sports clubs, homeless shelters etc and teach how to perform CPR and how to deal with emergencies such as choking, hypothermia, bleeding, and heart attacks.

Volunteering with us is a great way to get invaluable teaching experience and is excellent practice for future situations when you will have to deal with cardiac arrests. We will train you on how to be an instructor before any event, and then you'll be able to come along with us and teach others! Certificates are provided for your help!
