Enrolment fee: $ 800 per participant
$ 700 per participant enroled before 7 October 2022
With the overwhelming support from our members, all vacancies of the on-site
Symposium to be held on 20 October 2022 have been filled up. To address the
good response from members, the Electrical Division decided to launch the
Symposium also online in parallel.
Prior registration is required. Limited seats available on a first-come first-served
basis. Both HKIE and non-HKIE members are welcome. Print and return the
completed online enrolment form with a crossed cheque, made payable to “The
HKIE – Electrical Division”, to Ir Y.K. Chu at the address below. Payment is
required to confirm the enrolment.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. The app “Zoom” will be used for the Symposium (https://zoomnow.net/). Each applicant
who successfully registered will be provided with a unique link to access the online
Symposium, and a link on the proceedings.
2. All participants have to arrange their own desktop or notebook computer, or smartphone, with a suitable and stable network environment to join the online Symposium. Other operational details will be sent to individual participants upon successful registration.
3. Each applicant is required to provide an individual email address in the application form
for successful registration for the online Symposium.
4. Members who are already confirmed with seats in our on-site Symposium should NOT
enrol on the online Symposium. Their enrolment on the online Symposium will NOT be
processed under all circumstances.
CERTIFICATE:
1. Attendance certificate of this 6-hour online Symposium will be issued to individual
participant by email.
2. A short quiz will be organized after the online Symposium. A small souvenir will be
presented to each online participant on return of the duly completed quiz. Details of
souvenir collection to be announced later.
CANCELLATION
1. No refund or deduction of fee can be made for cancellation, but a substitute delegate is permitted.
