We're so happy that you are considering joining The Lyon! As one of Mackenzie's oldest and most involved clubs, our staff - and therefore our application process - is a cornerstone of the whole school. No matter what your passion, there is a place for you on The Lyon! Don't worry too much about past experience or publication credits; the most important things we look for in a staff member are passion, dedication, and talent.
Please keep in mind that being a member of our staff is a commitment! We expect that you will make The Lyon one of your top priorities for the year. Deadlines and meeting attendance are taken very seriously!
If you would prefer to casually drop in on meetings and workshops from time to time as a non-member, whether to pitch an idea or contribute an article/art piece, you are absolutely welcome to join us any time!
