Entry Procedure

1. The Sixth Form is an integral part of the School and therefore all applications are processed on the understanding that students agree to abide by the School’s regulations on behaviour and dress.

2. All applicants attend a career and course placement meeting and should bring to that meeting their CV, a personal statement and any supporting evidence. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss with the student the suitability and availability of courses that meet their career plans.

3. ALL students are required to attend the Sixth Form Induction Days which take place for 4 days at the end of June. The purpose of these days is to give students a practical understanding of the subjects they are interested in. At the end of Induction, students are required to state the three or four AS/A2 subjects they wish to study.

4. Following a successful Induction, applicants will receive a conditional offer of a place for a Sixth Form Course of Study dependent on:

- their GCSE/LEVEL 2 results meeting subject entry requirements
- course availability.
