Booking and Payment
Along with this signed agreement, half of the package amount is due to reserve a spot around your due date for newborn sessions. The other half of the package amount is due at the session. Additional prints and products can be ordered and paid for after the session. Prices are subject to change at any time until package is booked. (Package is considered booked when payment for the first half of the package amount is received and agreement is signed.) Because Photographer will lose other business/clients when she accepts your retainer, all monies paid are non-refundable unless photographer must cancel session due to illness, mandated closure (such as for Covid) or other unforeseen circumstance. *
Scheduling
Newborn sessions typically take place during the first two weeks of the new baby’s life. It is the parents’ responsibility to contact Anne Wilmus Photography within 48 hours of birth to alert her of the birth and schedule the session. If contact is not made within 48 hours of birth, it is possible that the session may not be able to be scheduled within the ideal timeframe which may result in a loss of retainer payment or less than desirable photos due to a later session date. All newborn sessions take place on weekday mornings in the Anne Wilmus Photography studio. In the event of poor weather conditions, illness, or other circumstance it may be possible for the session to be rescheduled for a nearby date. This will be at the photographer’s discretion and pending her availability. *
Covid, Injury, and Illness
Anne Wilmus Photography adheres to all guidelines set forth by local, state, and federal government in regards to non-essential business closures. As such, your session may be delayed and rescheduled past the initial "two week from birth window" if such a closure is in place. Additionally, for your session, extra safety precautions may be taken in preparation for your shoot and while in the studio. If needed, these will be communicated when your shoot date is scheduled. Anne Wilmus Photography recognizes this is a unique time to have a baby and appreciates your understanding and adherence to the new changes I must make. As there is inherent risk any time any of us leave our homes of exposure to illness, we shall both acknowledge this risk and Anne Wilmus Photography shall not be held responsible for any such illness or related consequences. *
Photography and Editing
Photographer will follow a typical posing and transitioning flow for each newborn photography session. Because a newborn may not tolerate every pose or requested set-up, the photographer cannot guarantee delivery of any specifically requested image(s). Photographer will use her experience and talent to select the best photos to edit and present in the final gallery. (Number of photos selected is based on your chosen package.) Basic editing of final gallery images is included. Basic editing includes skin clean-up and removal of blemishes and scratches from newborn's face. Further editing requests outside of photographer's typical process may be subject to an additional fee. *
Copyright and Releases
Anne Wilmus Photography retains the copyright to all images from your session. You may print the images from your session for personal use. You may not alter the images in any way, sell the images, or give permission to others to use the images for any purpose, including marketing or advertising purposes. You may not enter the images in any contests without written permission from Anne Wilmus Photography.  If sharing photos online, please do not add any filters and please tag @Anne Wilmus Photography.  Anne Wilmus Photography may use and publish photographs from your session to be included on her blog/website, social media, and Pinterest. In addition, Anne Wilmus Photography may use the images for editorial and trade purposes, may publish the photographs for advertising, display, website and internet promotion, photographic contests, public displays such as malls, store fronts, window displays, studio displays, television advertising, magazine advertising, and any other purpose thought proper by the Photographer. (Please email me if you would like to keep your photograph's private.) *
Agreement
Client acknowledges that by electronically submitting this form that Client has read, understands, and agrees to all of the above terms and conditions. Client is the parent/guardian of any photo session participants under 18 years of age and are approving this agreement and model release for dependent(s) and self. *
