BHS Marching Ensemble Registration 2024
Thank you for registering to be a part of our ensemble! Please read the following carefully, any and all questions can be directed to the band director, Eli Simantel, at eli_simantel@beaverton.k12.or.us 

It is recommended that registering members have at least one year of dance or music experience, but not required. Everyone is welcome in the marching ensemble as long as they are willing to work hard. The season will kick off with Band Camp. 

Band Camp is a series of all-day rehearsals running August 5 - 9, and August 12 - 16, culminating in a family and friends performance on the final Friday evening. The season will continue with two to three evening rehearsals every week, performances at home football games, and competitions on Saturdays. The competitive season runs up to late October/early November

A more detailed schedule and itinerary will be sent out as soon as possible.

Marching Ensemble is a big time commitment and it is incredibly important that every member has excellent attendance. Sometimes it is difficult to juggle multiple commitments, the most important thing is that you communicate with me and your other coach/director/family so we can come to a compromise.

In order to run our marching ensemble, we have to pay our staff, hire music and drill writers, repair and maintain equipment, register for competitions, pay for transportation, and feed our students. 

Each marching ensemble member must pay a fee of $450.00 to participate. If you are not able to pay the full fee at this time, please submit a $50.00 deposit before July 1st.  The remainder of the fee will be due on the first day of band camp on August 5th.
