Application for the board of the ReGeneration 2030 Foundation (2023 - 2025)
With this form, you are applying to become a Member of the Board of the ReGeneration 2030 Foundation.

You can still apply until the youth plenary during RGW in Åland on the 14 August.

The board will be elected at the ReGeneration Week (12-15 August 2023). We recommend that candidates should be between 18 and 30 years of age at the time of election and interested in the region. Note that if you are below 18 years old, you are eligible to apply as an observer to the board of the ReGeneration 2030 Foundation.

If you meet this requirement, are committed to sustainability, passionate about shaping a strong youth movement and able to think strategically consider applying and joining ReGeneration 2030. Previous board experience, knowledge of how NGOs operate, and/or experience of being in a social movement is beneficial but not mandatory.

How much time would you be able to dedicate towards the work of the board? *
Please note that the work usually takes about 5 hours a month, including a board meeting, a working group meeting, and a few tasks in between. It can also take more time if you want to get more involved.
Being a chair includes more responsibilities (paperwork, supervising the Secretary-General) which brings the time commitment to a minimum of 10 hours a month. You will also get the opportunity to speak about ReGeneration 2030, be present at high level youth events and grassroots meetings, and represent ReGeneration 2030 in the media/public.

Please note that there are further responsibilities to be divided among the board members after the election (Vice-chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary, Head of Communication, Partnership Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, and General Board Member)

Please note that you will do a short speech presenting yourself and why you wish to become a part of the board during the election. If you leave RGW before the elections, you should prepare a 2 minute long video presentation answering the aforementioned questions. We will be in touch with more details if that is your case.
