NYCMER Conference Committee
Thank you for your interest in joining the NYCMER 2022 Conference Committee. You don't need any experience - all you need is to be a NYCMER member!

Conference Committee members:
• work with professionals and students from around NYC and beyond.
• determine the conference theme through identification and discussion of key issues and trends in the field.
• participate in conference sub-committees (i.e. RFP, evaluation, engagement).
• review, debate, and select proposals.
• take on the roll of “conference shepherd,” working with presenters as they plan their session, and helping with logistics on the day-of.
• and work together to ensure that the conference runs smoothly.

Conference Committee meetings take place virtually after work one Tuesday each month. Meetings start at 6:00pm. Committee members are expected to participate in a minimum of 5 out of the 8 planning meetings, attend the Annual Conference, and communicate promptly via email.

If you are interested, please complete this form by Thursday, October 7, 2021.  If you have any questions, please email Sonya Ochshorn at vicepresident@nycmer.org.
