Welcome to the Thriving Narrators Retreat DEI Scholarship Application Form.
We are thrilled to announce the Thriving Narrators Retreat DEI Scholarship. This scholarship will provide one (1) full scholarship* and three (3) half scholarships**. The goal of this scholarship is to provide narrators from historically marginalized, underserved, and underrepresented communities the opportunity to participate in the Thriving Narrators Retreat, which is taking place in Cincinnati, OH August 22-25, 2024. 

* The full scholarship will cover the entire registration fee for the Thriving Narrators Retreat; the recipient will be responsible for transportation to and from the retreat, lodging during the retreat, and non-catered evening meals during the retreat. 

** The three half scholarships will cover 50% of the registration fee for the Thriving Narrators Retreat; the recipients will be responsible for the remaining $698 of the registration fee, as well as for transportation to and from the event, lodging during the retreat, and non-catered evening meals during the retreat

Any audiobook narrator who is a member of a historically marginalized, underserved, and/or underrepresented community is eligible to apply.

Scholarship applications must be submitted by 11:59pm PT on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Scholarship recipients will be notified by Friday, April 26, 2024. Scholarship recipients must accept or decline the scholarship no later than May 3, 2024.

- If you receive the full scholarship, you will be responsible for all costs related to travel and lodging for the retreat, as well as the non-catered evening meals. 

- If you receive one of the half scholarships, you will be responsible for the remaining $698 registration fee, as well as all costs related to travel and lodging for the retreat, and the non-catered evening meals.

By checking below, you also acknowledge that, if you receive the scholarship, you have until May 3, 2024 to confirm your acceptance of the scholarship. After this date, any unaccepted scholarships will be offered to other applicants.
