Dallas Farmers Market Application
This is an application for parties interested in vending at the upcoming Dallas Farmers Market (DFM)

THE TENTATIVE HOURS OF THE DALLAS FARMERS MARKET ARE 10 AM - 3 PM.
THE TIMEFRAME IS ANTICIPATED TO END BETWEEN 2-3PM, FINAL HOURS WILL BE POSTED UPON DFM PERMIT SUBMISSION.

Submission of this application does NOT ensure your participation at the DFM

Applicants will be reviewed and selected based on date of submission, locality to Dallas, OR, relationship to Agriculture, and variety of goods sold. We are going to try and limit resale, non-local, and/or replica booths, and therefore may not be able to accept every applicant.

Licensing and regulations will be Per Federal, Oregon State, City, and Polk County rules. Vendors are responsible for acquiring the appropriate licensing to sell their goods at Farmers Markers-these permits apply primarily to vendors who sell food and consumable goods, particularly which they have not personally sourced.

If, say, the produce is grown on the vendors own farm, a license is not typically required.
However, there are nursery licensing required for plants, starts, trees, and items of that nature.

If the product is value-added and/or cottage goods, proper certification is required. Certain vendors require food handlers certificates. One resource for this information is this directory compiled by the State of Oregon: https://apps.oregon.gov/sos/licensedirectory

Would you be interested in selling in a Consignment Vending Booth?
This would be a booth wherein a reduced booth cost per vendor is charged, and the booth space each week is shared with a number of other vendors. The Vendor who is physically present at the Market would rotate each week, making sure that the selling parties share responsibility. Guidelines are subject to change.
