BBHS Dance Team 21'-22' Membership Inquiry Packet
Welcome!
     The BBHS Dance Team is excited that you are interested in trying out to be a performer. We are in need of teammates that desire to grow within their dance abilities, build new friendships, and make BBHS an even greater place through dance.
     Dancers can expect to see future seasons filled with performance opportunities such as BBHS sporting events, assemblies, community events, fundraisers, and competitions around the state!

*Important Season Updates:
1) The 21-22 Dance Season will be implementing an OPEN team this season. Meaning that all are welcomed! The purpose of this implementation is to increase the accessibility of the Dance program to more students and share the love of dance to all!

2) A continuation of the previous dance team’s policy will persist, however, where all participants will be expected audition each of the routines throughout the season and earn a qualifying score to perform at events. Each student will have a new opportunity to audition their routines and showcase their improved skills for each performance.

3) Once submitting the Membership Inquiry Survey, candidates can expect a response email which will include details about practice location, times, necessary participation paperwork, etc.

4) Dance team will consist of three skill groups. Diamond League, Platinum Squad, and Gems. Dancers will be expect to learn a short routine the first week of practice, which, will place you in your skill level group. Being placed in a skill level group is not permanent. All dancers will have the opportunity to demonstrate their new skills through out the season to potentially change groups.  

5) Prior to the first day of practice, Wednesday September 15th, candidates will need register on:
           - FamilyID and submit their current physical

            -Membership inquiry packets will also need to be submitted via google forms.
