EuroPride 2022 International Human Rights Conference Scholarship Program
Civil Rights Defenders offers a limited number of scholarships for representatives and activists of human rights organisations who would otherwise be unable to participate at the Conference for financial and other reasons. We are only able to support a limited number of scholarships and, therefore, we urge interested participants to try to obtain funds and support from other available resources, including their organisation. The Scholarship Program is established to expand the mission of the Conference to work on building capacities of both regional and international activists working on issues of LGBTI+ people.
Participants are selected based on their previous work experience in human rights, commitment to the human rights, and demonstrated ability to make contribution to the improvement of the position of LGBTI+ people in their countries.
For the International Human Rights Conference 2022, Scholarships will support full participation to all sessions of the Conference from 13 to 16 September 2022, travel and accommodation costs, as well as access to other Pride Week events and Pride Parade. Recipients will be expected to share their experiences and newly acquired knowledge within their organisation and local communities following the attendance of the Conference.
Deadline for application submission is 15 August 2022
