An all-volunteer organization, Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts (PSHA) is a non-profit California Corporation whose members donate their time and talents to present three annual Music Programs, administer a large Gifts & Grants program and accomplish the formidable feat of producing the Pasadena Showcase House of Design as their annual fundraiser. PSHA supports a diversity of programs including musical theater, orchestra, jazz ensembles, marching bands and choral groups at local schools.
AND the the Community Partners are additionally compensated to further distribute the impact this event has for the community.
Volunteer at the Pasadena Showcase House and raise money for the Pasadena Jaycees! Volunteers will be directing the traffic flow, ensuring guest safety, greeting guests with a smile, answering basic questions and referring guests to designers. Shifts are available Tuesday through Sunday between April 21 2024 and May 19, 2024.
The Jaycees will receive $50 for each 4-hour shift completed by our volunteers. You do not have to be a Jaycee member to volunteer, however all money raised from your shift will go to the Jaycees (benefiting our many service projects!).
Please select days you are AVAILABLE to volunteer on the next page. We will confirm the dates and times of your shift(s) prior to the date and provide more details. There are several dozen volunteers needed per shift so while we can't guarantee your shift, the odds are in your favor! Please sign up for multiple, we can use all the help we can get;)
UPDATE: Highest Availability Dates are May 12, May 17, and May 18 though I will check for shift updates to get you a different date.
- Shifts will be ~4 hours long and volunteers must be able to stand during that time though we will include notes to accommodate if possible. There will be a 15-minute break during your shift.
- Volunteers may be assigned inside or outside the House.
- No food or drinks are permitted in the House but water and snacks will be available to Volunteers in the Break Room.
- Unfortunately, volunteers are not allowed to park on the streets surrounding the House. Free parking will be at ROSE BOWL. Free Showcase Shuttles will take volunteers and guests to and from the offsite parking to the House approximately every 15 minutes.
- Volunteer reward: for each two shifts completed, the volunteer will receive one complimentary member ticket (entry after 1 pm)!
