On the behalf of the GUSOM Learning Society Advisory Committee, Gold Humanism Honors Society, the Office of Student Affairs, and the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, we invite you to attend our 6th annual event convening on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 5:30-7:30 pm ET.

I, Too, Am Georgetown Medicine is a reflective, community-building event that brings together medical students from all four classes to build community by reflecting on issues that affect all of us as medical students. I, Too am Georgetown Medicine aims to create an opportunity to gather together to converse about and reaffirm the values of our profession and institution. It also strives to expand our understanding and empathy of others in order to build a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for our peers, colleagues, and patients.

This year's theme is "Out of Our Element: Vulnerability, Fatigue, & Misinformation  - Caring for yourself and your community in isolating times."

The event will consist of breakout sessions, where small groups of students will discuss themes such as identity, empowerment, and advocacy.
