Camp Kaluanui Intern/Volunteer Application
Thank you for your interest in volunteering or interning with Camp Kaluanui at Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center! Camp Kaluanui is a creative and fun all-day art camp for ages 5 and up. We are seeking interns and volunteers that can help as Camp Assistants/Counselors.

As Camp Assistant, you will be asked to:
-assist the teacher in preparing art lessons and cleaning up
-engage the children in art and playtime activities, making sure they are supervised and safe at all times
-observe and learn different classroom management and teaching techniques

You can answer kids' questions, make sure directions are followed, materials are being used appropriately (and safely!), provide creative inspiration, distribute supplies as needed—or ask the children questions about their artwork to keep them thinking! You are also to help keep children on task and following the rules of camp. We want everyone to have fun and be safe!
