Housing Move Request Form

The Move Request Form is for individuals requesting to move rooms or requesting their current room as a private. Due to the large number of students on campus, we are very limited on the ability to move and find new roommates. There are three options for a move request:

1. Requesting to move inside their current residential college
2. Requesting to moving to another residential college
3. Requesting to move to a private or buyout their room as a private. Very limited ability to grant private rooms.

Once the form is complete, a staff member of your current residence halls will be in contact with you to discuss your desire to move. The goal of this meeting is to assist you through mediation if necessary and provide an opportunity for healthy learning through discussion. The staff member will then inform the Housing Office of the outcome of the meeting.

Once a move is approved you will receive an email stating all the details of the move. Moves will need to be completed within 7-10 days of receiving the email.
