The MBA is an online tool designed to support Higher Education professionals and can be used by academics, administrators, staff from the professional services & senior leaders.

The MBA enables self-reflection and  action-planning in relation to strategy, organisation and leadership, which are three key components of an entrepreneurial culture. It also considers the change management process, the journey from the present day to the achievement of the strategic goals in the future, and the roles that individuals play in this transformation process.

Guidance on using the MBA

How do I use the MBA? You will be prompted to answer a series of questions. The questions do not have right or wrong answers. They are simply designed to stimulate your thinking.  You will also be asked to consider actions that you can take to strengthen the entrepreneurial culture of your own organisation.

How long does it take to complete the MBA? It all depends how much time you want to spend. It can be just a couple of minutes. However, the more time you spend, the deeper your consideration of the questions, the more likely it is that you will gain real benefits.  You might choose to spend more time on some questions and less time on others but it is important to answer every question. The more time you put in the more you will get out. As you answer the questions your progress will be shown at the bottom of the screen.  
 
How will I know what actions to take? You are the person who is best placed to decide on the actions which are the most appropriate and important for you and your organisation.  An action might be a clearly defined task or it could be a commitment to find out more information or to have a discussion with a colleague or leader.

What will I get from the MBA? When you finish the last question and press the [Submit] button you will immediately receive an email with a copy of all your ratings and actions. You should use the email to plan how and when you are going to carry out your actions. The purpose of the MBA is to stimulate your thinking and above all to motivate you to take action.
