Vacation Church School Volunteer Registration
Thank you for being willing to volunteer at St. Andrew's and St. Athanasius' Vacation Church School!

When: June 20-24 from 9:00-12:00
Where:  St. Athanasius Orthodox Church (100 Lime Lane, Nicholasville)
Ages:  Preschool (3+ yrs) through just completed 5th grade
Hosted by:  St. Andrew and St. Athanasius Orthodox Churches

Our theme is "Pursuing Holiness."  We will be learning about saints who pursued holiness and experienced a special connection with God's creation.  Through their example, we can be encouraged in our pursuit of holiness as well.

Monday-Thursday:  Children will participate in a rotation of music, lesson, craft, and games.  A snack will be provided by the church.
Friday:  We will participate in Liturgy at 9 am.  A potluck brunch for the whole family will follow around 10:40.  Starting at 11:15, we will have a rotation of water games for the kids until 1:00.

All volunteers are to follow best practices for Child Safety, as set forth in the St. Athanasius Child Safety Handbook found here:  https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oOfOhn_MPsfecPTgps0GZKMw2vORNNhC/view
The policy expectations are in force; however, we are not conducting a full screening process for volunteers since we have volunteers from two parishes.  All volunteers' names will be presented to their parish priests for a blessing to participate as volunteers.

We couldn't provide this amazing opportunity for our children without your gift of time and energy to make it happen.  Thank you!
