The Alliance Française Delhi Library is organizing a special online Art appreciation workshop on Artist Claude Monet and his painting style, for pan-Indian school students on Friday, 27 August 2021 (2:30 pm to 3:30 pm IST).

The workshop is based on the legendary French painter, Claude Monet and is being organized under 'Library Fest 2021' in partnership with the Alliance Française Libraries from all over India.

The medium of instruction is English. It will be followed by a workshop on painting.

Eligibility - Students between the age of 8 to 14 years are invited to join.

Prior to joining the workshop, students need to have the following items handy:

(i) A4  250 g sheets (cut in half: 2 x A5 per child)

(ii) A3 sheet 210g for the background

(iii) Draft paper (a few sheets per child)

(iv) Brushes (fine and broad)

(v) Cotton wool

(vi) Cotton buds

(vii) Water cups

(viii) Palettes

(ix) Primary gouache (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) + white

(x) HB pencils (one per child)

(xi) Eraser (one per child)

(xii) Glue stick

(xiii) Hand wipes

Note : Students may wear an apron to avoid any colour tripping and use plastic sheets or newspaper to cover their tables.
