At Farmland Kennels we require a $300 deposit in order to reserve a puppy or a spot in line for a future litter. The DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE unless we are not able to provide a puppy for you as promised according to the following guidelines: Process for deposit on UNBORN LITTER: Your deposit reserves a spot in line in an order of choice once the puppies are born. After the litter has arrived you will be notified of how many males/females there are and which options you have for gender, based on the decisions of any families ahead of you in line. You will be asked to notify us of your choice of gender within 24 hours after we have given you your options. Your deposit does not guarantee you that a certain gender, color, size or any other preference will be available to you, and will not be refunded if there is one or more puppies available to you, even if the available puppy(ies) does not meet your preferences. Your deposit can be credited towards any other litter if for any reason you choose not to take one of the puppies available to you. Process for deposit on NEWBORN - 6 WEEK PUPPY: You need to specify a gender at the time you place your deposit, and then wait until it is your turn to pick out your puppy. Your deposit will not be refunded for any reason but can be credited towards any other litter if for any reason you choose not to take one of the puppies available to you. Process for deposit on OLDER, 6+ WEEK PUPPY: You must specify which puppy you are choosing when placing your deposit. Once you have chosen a puppy your deposit can no longer be transferred to a different litter. Deposits will only be eligible for a refund 1) if there are not enough puppies born in a litter to cover your spot in line on a deposit list for an unborn litter, 2) if the unborn litter which you have placed a deposit for is going to be born 2 or more months later than what you were told when placing your deposit, or 3) in the rare case that a puppy becomes disqualified for sale due to a health defect. In any of these cases you may choose to leave your deposit with us and wait for the litter to arrive or apply your deposit towards another litter, or you may instead receive a full refund of your deposit. Deposits will not be refunded for any other reason. A deposit can be paid by cash, personal check, PayPal or Venmo.
