2024 KWWF Workshop Demonstration Applications 
The Workshop and demonstration program is an incredibly important part of the Karoo Winter Wool Festival. In 2022 we held 6 workshops with eager KWWF attendees, in 2023 we held 9 workshops and in 2024 we hope to strengthen our offering. It has been an incredible experience for all involved and we hope to grow this program enabling more people the opportunity to learn from only the best in the wool crafting space. 

We hope to have a variety of workshops covering all skill levels and showcasing a variety of different crafting techniques - felting, crocheting, knitting, weaving, dyeing, sewing etc. 

Workshops will be held on Friday the 14th June, Saturday 15th June and Sunday 16th June 2023 in morning and afternoon slots. The workshops will be held at various venues the majority being on or around Dwarsvlei. A schedule of venues and time slots will be sent to all accepted workshop proposals. 

The workshop fee will be 15 % charge on the ticket sales, 5 % goes towards the Quicket fee (our ticket portal), 5 % to the venue and set up and 5% to KWWF administration and marketing. We can assist you in accessing  funding for materials so please contact info@karoowinterwolfestival.com if you should require additional funding for materials to make the workshops cost effective.

Demonstrations will take place on the festival terrain during the Friday and Saturday of the festival. Please provide us with demonstration description as well as the amount charged for an hour demonstration. (The demonstration will be paid for by the KWWF team and will be available free of charge to KWWF attendees so that all have the chance to be exposed to exciting skills and crafts).  *
