SpongeBob Broadway Musical Workshop with Gavin Lee and Matt Gallagher

What: A Full day workshop with Tony nominated actor Gavin Lee (Squidward in "SpongeBob Squarepants  the Musical", Bert in "Mary Poppins") and Broadway's "Hamilton" Music Associate and "SpongeBob" music conductor Matt Gallagher.

When: Saturday, December 7th from 10am to 4pm at Lopatcong Middle School Multipurpose Room

Who: Open to the first 60 students who register by November 14th.  Open to the public on November 14th if slots are still available.  Your child must be in grades 5 to 8 to participate.  Lopatcong Drama Club alum may register as counselors.

Fee: $70; Covers the cost of a full day workshop and t-shirt. Online Form and Fee are due by November 14th for Lopatcong students; November 21st for the public. Checks made payable to Lopatcong Township School District should be submitted to the middle school office with child's name and addressed to Mrs. Donna Bellfy c/o Broadway Workshop

Workshop Description:
Morning- Gavin will teach the music and choreography to the opening number in SpongeBob the Musical followed by Character/Script Work
Lunch- Bring Your Own Bag Lunch
Afternoon- Audition Technique Class with opportunity for Students to Audition with their own musical piece or given monologue. A Group Dance Audition will be taught by Gavin followed by another dance/song from SpongeBob the Musical. The afternoon will conclude with a meet and greet.

Audition Portion: Students will have an opportunity to sing 16 bars of a piece they have prepared for an audition portion of the workshop.  NOTE: This is not a requirement.  Lopatcong students should prepare from Into the Woods. Would your child like to signup to audition? *
