“a chance encounter” is an experimental gathering formed around the idea that we make meaning of our lives by asking questions and finding unexpected answers in "third things" and with each other. 

This encounter will be focused on environmental activism, sustainability, and the natural world. 

You are invited to bring sources you turn to for meaning.
