Thank you for your interest in becoming a Teaching Instructor (TI) for Girls Who Code at Binghamton University. Being a TI comes with benefits such as professional development, mentorship opportunities, and Girls Who Code swag.
TIs are responsible for teaching our weekly classes and providing feedback that helps shape and improve our curriculum. TIs are not only teachers, but mentors and role models to our students.
By applying to be a TI, you agree to be available:
1. Each Saturday, September 12th - November 14th, from 10am - 12pm on Zoom.
2. August 29th and September 5th at a TBD time for TI training.
2. A 1-hour weekly TI meeting at a TBD day/time.
Note: You also may be requested to help grading our student assignments.
