Food Preservation Class Registration
Please complete the form to register for The Nuts and Bolts of Food Preservation.  This two-part class is an introductory class designed to provide participants with research-based knowledge and scientific resources on the basics of food preservation.  This class is presented as an overview of the various food preservation methods and is guided by specific learning objectives, with a focus on safety.

Participants will learn about the proper equipment, procedures and storage methods for boiling water canning, pressure canning, jelly/jam making, pickling, fermenting and drying techniques.  This class is brought to you by Hennepin County Master Gardener Volunteer Food Preservation Consultants from the University of MN Extension.  Please join us!

This class has two sections held on November 3rd and November 10th.      This is a single class in two parts so it is important to attend both to ensure you are ready to start preserving safely.   Class will start at 6:30 PM and end at 8:00 PM.

You will receive a follow-up email a few days before the class with the Zoom link to be used for class.  The email will also contain the links to the handouts.    Feel free to share the link with your friends!
