13th Annual Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Celebration Kickoff  & Scholarship Awards
The UC San Diego Pan-Asian Staff Association (PASA) and Campus Community invite you to celebrate the 13th Annual Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Celebration Kickoff  & Scholarship Awards with keynote speaker Krysada Phounsiri, an award winning poet, professional dancer, and an avid photographer.  Krysada, a San Diego based artist, graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a Physics & Astrophysics Double Major with a Minor in Poetry.  Dancing for 15 years, his resume includes various competition wins around the globe, performing a year long stint in Las Vegas, dancing/choreographing on movie sets, and other numerous creative projects.

This kickoff recognizes our multidimensional communities’ narratives, presence, and to celebrate the achievements of motivated students who are working to support equity, diversity and inclusion at UC San Diego.  Ticket proceeds will support undergraduate/graduate scholarships.  This year's theme is Many Voices - One Movement.  One’s voice in many of our cultures, is where community finds their strength, their truth, and their connection to others. Our voices are the ways we share, express, and advocate.  When our diverse voices come together, we form a strong movement that amplifies all of our experiences.  Entertainment will be provided by Naruwan Taiko, Calamities Hip-Hop Dance Crew (Jabbawockeez Alumni), and UC San Diego National Champion’s Raas Ruckas Traditional Dance Team!
