I am a resident of Buckinghamshire or Milton Keynes, and I wish to support this campaign.

The aims of this campaign are for Buckinghamshire Council to revise aspects of its financial management of public money.

We call on the Council to:

(1) agree a new policy strategy with regard to Bucks Council’s Pension Fund, and instruct Brunel Pension Partnership to divest urgently and completely from all fossil fuel investments by 2025;
and
to transfer such monies to renewable energies and other environmentally sustainable industries that do not contribute to carbon emissions;

(2) urgently and categorically commit to change the Council’s banking arrangements away from Barclays Bank, and for this process to be fully completed at the earliest opportunity, and no later than 2026.
