World Series of Birding Pledge Form
Hello and thank you for supporting our team! We are "One Wren to Rule Them All", a birdwatching team competing in New Jersey Audubon's World Series of Birding (WSB), which will happen on Saturday, May 14th, 2022 from midnight to midnight. The WSB is a 24 hour day of birding put on by New Jersey Audubon Society. It encompasses the entire state of New Jersey, and its two goals are for teams to see the most species possible and for teams to raise the most funds for conservation causes. Teams choose what they want to raise funds for, and then donations happen in two ways: first, individuals (or companies) can pledge a set amount (e.g. $20) for the conservation cause, or they can pledge to donate a certain amount PER BIRD that the team sees. So $0.25 per bird would be $25 if the team sees a hundred species and $50 if the team identifies 200 species.

Our team has never hit 200 species before, although we've gotten close (190), and 200 species is again our birding goal for this year, so if you decide to pledge based on number of bird species, 180-200 would be a good ballpark, and hopefully we hit that! We will be sending updates on how the birding is going during the week prior to the event, and you can opt-in for those updates using this form.

We are raising money this year for the New York State Breeding Bird Atlas III (NYSBBAIII)! The NYSBBAIII is a multi-year effort to document all of the breeding bird species in the state of New York to help inform conservation plans and policies. It has been completed two other times in the past 50 years, and we are currently in year 3 of 5 for the current iteration. Thank you for considering donating to our cause!

Technology concerns being what they are, feel free to email me at jackson.mesick@tu.edu if you do not want to submit your email address and whatnot through this form, or if you would just rather use email.

Financial Support
Please fill out the following if you are able to financially support the NYSBBAIII
If you would like to donate a certain amount per bird (e.g. $0.20 per bird), how much would you like to donate?
If you would like to donate a lump sum, how much would you like to give (e.g. $25)?
If you are donating a lump sum, feel free to give directly to the NYSBBAIII through Paypal at this link:
Sometimes people offer to donate more if the team meets certain conditions, e.g. they'll increase their donation if we find a specific species (e.g. a king rail) or they'll add a bonus for each raptor we see (probably 5-10 species on the day, FYI). Would you like to add any bonus donations?
Thank you so much for your support!!!
