Thank you for your interest in the Base Camp Coding Academy Graduate Institute (BCCA GI)! The BCCA GI is a targeted program for aspiring software developers with the ability to commute to Water Valley. Space at the Graduate Institute is limited, and this is a huge opportunity and responsibility. Please help us understand why you are the right person to receive this opportunity. 

In order to be eligible for admission, you must also be nominated by an employer, teacher, or other qualified individual who can speak to your abilities; this individual cannot be a friend or family member. Your nominator must complete the nomination form before we can continue with the admission process. Once we receive both form submissions, we will contact you via email to setup your first interview!

Applicant Eligibility

We are working to provide a life changing experience for north Mississippi residents! We are currently cultivating a class of applicants who meet the following criteria:

  • At least 20 years old.
  • Ability to commute to Water Valley, MS for classes three times a week. This means the student either lives within commuting distance (50 miles) or has the ability to relocate to live within commuting distance. We do not cover the cost of housing or fuel for any students.
  • Ability to attend in-person classes for 15 hours per week - Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Ability to complete 10 hours of virtual work from home per week. 

Applicants do not need to have any previous programming experience, and if selected, this program is 100% tuition-free for the applicant. Additionally, we anticipate offering free childcare for students with minor dependents during the in-person classes. Overall, we are looking for diverse, hard working applicants with a desire to learn and grow.
