Who we are!
TEXAS WILDLIFE ASSOCIATION (TWA) is a statewide membership organization formed in 1985 by a group of ranchers, wildlife managers and hunters dedicated to the conservation, management and enhancement of wildlife and wildlife habitat on private lands.

Mission Statement:

Serving Texas wildlife and its habitat, while protecting property rights, hunting heritage, and the conservation efforts of those who value and steward wildlife resources.

Purpose of our Conservation Legacy Programs:

Educating people of all ages about the importance of native Texas wildlife and private lands stewardship by incorporating wildlife information and natural resource management practices into classrooms and afield.

To secure a presentation with a Conservation Legacy Educator, I agree to the following:
Presentations must meet the following conditions:
• Maximum number of students per presentation: 100 students/devices
• Students will be kept on mute during the presentation until the speaker allows comments/questions.
• Students will be prepared to participate and immerse in a hands-on educational presentation.
• Students will practice their best behavior, treating the TWA presenter, with respect.
• At least one teacher must be present during presentations and are required to help moderate.
• Teachers will be attentive, involved, and will help guide the classroom atmosphere to support inquisitive group learning.

One evaluation is required to be completed by a teacher that participated per daily topic, per school
