Tell YourStory. Tell HerStory.

Emerge Events, 5x2 Marketing, the Pine Belt Women's Expo, and the Historic Hattiesburg Downtown Association are partnering to celebrate Women's HERstory Month!

Women's History Month is designed to celebrate the resilience and achievements of women in history. We believe that women in Hattiesburg and surrounding regions are making history every day.

We want to celebrate our local women of TODAY, who are overcoming, achieving, and making a difference each and every day, mostly unseen, unnoticed, and often taken for granted.

We want to hear your story and the stories of women you know! Stories of resilience, overcoming, and perseverance. Stories of achievement, success, and joy. Stories of the everyday, of showing up day after day, doing the mundane, unseen work of life. Stories of struggle, sadness, and loss.

Tell YourStory, tell HerStory. Celebrating Women's HERstory for Women's History Month.

How can you get involved? 3 ways:

1. Stop by the Women's Expo on Friday, March 1, 5:30-7:30pm or Saturday, March 2, 10am-3pm and share your story on our story wall at the 5x2 Marketing Booth in the Grand Hall. We will take photos of our story wall and display them on the Expo Facebook page after the Expo.

2. Stop by the story wall at the Expo and share your story through video to be shared on the Expo Facebook page.

3. Can't make it in person? Submit your story here and we will display it on our wall at the Expo.

Note that these will be on public display for all ages. Profanity or anything not suitable for children to read will not be displayed.
