งานสัมมนาโครงการสนับสนุนการตีพิมพ์ผลงานแปลของไต้หวัน

โครงการสนับสนุนการตีพิมพ์ผลงานแปลของไต้หวัน (Grant for the Publication of Taiwanese Works in Translation : GPT) คือโครงการที่จัดตั้งขึ้นภายใต้การดูแลของสำนักงานเศรษฐกิจและวัฒนธรรมไทเป ประจำประเทศไทย และกระทรวงวัฒนธรรมไต้หวัน โดยมีจุดประสงค์ ดังนี้

(1) ส่งเสริมการตีพิมพ์ผลงานแปลของไต้หวัน
(2) ส่งเสริมเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมของไต้หวันให้เป็นที่รู้จักมากขึ้นในระดับสากล
(3) ส่งเสริมให้อุตสาหกรรมการพิมพ์ของไต้หวันขยายไปสู่ตลาดต่างประเทศ

โดยโครงการฯ นี้ให้เงินสนับสนุนแก่สำนักพิมพ์จากต่างประเทศสูงสุดจำนวน 20,000 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐต่อโครงการ

Grant for the Publication of Taiwanese Works in Translation (GPT) Forum

GPT project is an initiative under the Ministry of Culture (Taiwan) aimed to
(1) encourage the publication of Taiwanese works in translation;
(2) raise the international visibility of Taiwanese cultural content; and
(3) assist Taiwan's publishing industry expand into non-Chinese international markets

The Taiwanese government provides monetary support for foreign publishers to apply, with a maximum of USD 20,000 per project. Each project grant amount will be various depending on the size of the project.
