OIAF 2022 Kid's Jury Application
The OIAF 2022 Kids Jury is a unique opportunity for animation enthusiasts ages 8-12 to judge animation made for young audiences at the biggest animation festival in North America.

Ten kid jury members will be divided into two juries to judge one of the two Young Audiences categories at OIAF22 from Sept 21-Sept 25.

Each jury member will be given an AnimaPass, so they can enjoy the entire OIAF festival for free.

The ten selected jury members will be invited to the festival on Saturday, September 24th for the InGenius Jr.Day at the Ottawa Art Gallery. The kids will spend the morning judging the films and tv programs in one of two Animation for Young Audiences categories –Preschool or Ages 6-12.

The two juries will deliberate before deciding on a winner and the kids will present the awards to the winning filmmakers that evening at the awards ceremony.

The submission deadline is July 8th 2022.

Parents/guardian's will also need to sign a media release form in order for their child to participate for promotional purposes.
