Crossbones Interest Form
The next competition coming up is Crossbones Foil, which will be held in the Mardyke Arena at UCC, on the weekend of April 15th-16th! It includes both a day of individual and a day of (mixed-gender!!) team competition, so come along for either or both to have some good fun with foil! If you want to participate in the team event, just fill out this form and we will all figure out the setup of the teams together.

You must do all of the following steps by Thursday April 13th at 11:59pm in order to get properly registered!

1. Be a member of Fencing Ireland. Your first year of membership is free! If you already signed up last semester, you're all set. If not, sign up here.

2. Book into the Crossbones event on Wolves.  To show UL we do things, yay!

3. Finish filling out this form!  This is so Marika can set up a Discord channel for sorting travel plans and gear.

4. If you are competing in the individuals on Saturday: fill out the UCC registration form, here. If you are only competing in the team event on Sunday, skip this step for now. This is how you officially register for the comp.

5. Pay your entry fee, here. If you are competing only in the team event on Sunday, you can wait to do this until your team is confirmed. Search for "Fencing" on the drop-down menu at the top that says "Show all sellers". The cost of the competition is 15€ for the individuals or 5€ (per team member) for the teams.

Now to the info:
This comp is for anyone, which means there's so many cool people to meet, including beginners and experienced fencers who love to help new folks getting started. If you're new to foil, I encourage you to try out at least the team event, because you'll get the extra support of your teammates and it will be a lot of fun watching and cheering each other on!

Plan to be away for the entirety of the day(s) of your event(s), early morning to evening.

Any money you spend on travel can be reimbursed by UL, so don't worry about any extra costs unless you want to pay for accommodation to spend Saturday night in Cork.
