On Friday, October 20th from 1-4 pm the TU Department of Music will host Voice Day for Transfer Students. This workshop will feature many exciting learning and performance opportunities for aspiring singers. Towson University’s voice faculty will work directly with singers in one-on-one and group settings.

Performance classes, sessions dealing with stage presence, effective auditioning, essential musical and interpretive skills for solo singers, and other valuable information for singers will be covered.

Registration is for current college voice majors who are taking private voice lessons.

If you will perform in the workshop, list the complete title and composer's full name of one song that you will perform in the voice workshop on Voice Day. An accompanist will be provided for you. You may bring more than one song if you wish.

Please bring copies of your music with you. If you will sing from a score (not-memorized), be sure to bring an extra copy for the pianist.

All music must be solo songs with piano accompaniment and from the genres of classical art songs, opera arias, oratorio arias, or classic era musical theater songs. Works intended to be sung by a choir are not permitted. Please, no pop, rock, or jazz/commercial songs
