D.C. Convening to Pledge to Teach the Truth
The D.C. Area Educators for Social Justice (DCAESJ),  African American Civil War Memorial and Museum (AACWM), EmpowerEd, and Critical Exposure invite D.C. area teachers and allies to a convening at on Saturday June 11, at 11:00AM to decry the GOP legislation that would require teachers to lie to students about the role of racism, sexism, heterosexism, and oppression throughout U.S. history. Please let us know if you plan to join us. The RSVP is not required, but it helps us plan and also allows us to update you if there are changes due to weather or other considerations.
