Scream for Queer Art is a pop-up gallery/market hosted at Scream Salon for Capitol Hill Art Walk. This event takes place on Thursday, MARCH 12 from 6PM - 10PM. It is a space dedicated to LGBTQ+ artists. Don't identify as such? Don't apply. We are seeking queer zinesters, vintage-peddlers, jewelry-makers, painters, ceramicists, illustrators, print-makers, and more. The idea is to fill the space up with an eclectic array of art by queer folx.

PLEASE NOTE: Limited space is available. Only one or two artists of each medium will be featured.

*If an overwhelming amount of applications come through applications will CLOSE EARLY. Apply ASAP to better your chances of snagging a spot.

THE SPACE: Up to seven artists without a table will receive approximately 4 feet of space on the salon counter to display their creations. Approximately 3-6 artists can set up a table (depending on size) throughout the rest of the space.

FEE: $20. These events cost time and money to produce. This fee is used to take out advertising on Facebook and Instagram, print and distribute flyers, and provide complimentary refreshments for guests. If your application is accepted, fee is to be paid immediately through Venmo or Paypal.
