The Community Alliance for Progressive Education (CAPE) is a local, innovative education non-profit that serves all students and families in our community.
CAPE recently applied for a grant and received funding to host a 3-day camp experience for children and their families.
The camp will be an interactive, activity based, hands-on experience designed to inspire and enlighten all participants with health information and data. We also hope to create a network of kids and families for future support; direct and lead them to new support mechanisms needed and build morale and understanding of diabetes.
The event will be held in June of 2024, dates TBD.
