Edison Visionary Lions Club

Edison Visionary Lions Club was chartered in March 2010 with a focus on welfare of youth and families. It is one of the most active and recognized club in New Jersey. Since it’s inception the club has undertaken several humanitarian projects locally as well as globally.

2011 Cataract Surgery Camp serving 100 individuals in Tribal Area
2012 Disaster Relief (Blankets & water distribution after Superstorm Sandy)
2013 Premiere of a documentary "It's a Girl" on International Women’s Day
2014 School Supply Drive to motivate students to stay in school (Every year since)
2015 Youth Leadership Diploma graduating 80 young leaders
2016 Mental Health Symposium
2017 Eye Screening campaign serving 50,000 individuals since
2018 Supporting Medical Missions – India and Dominican Republic
2019 Together We CAN - A food sculpture competition for hunger relief
2020 Covid Relief effort (Feeding the hungry & raising funds with a virtual concert)
2021 Lead with a Vision (a 40 week virtual leadership program)
2022 Leading Guinness World Record attempt (Longest Chain of Eyeglasses)
2023 Youth Leadership Conference in collaboration with 14 other organizations

Application fee for the club membership is $50. Lions International takes pride in using 100% of funds raised for charitable causes. The annual dues from the members fund the administrative expenses. Annual dues for Edison Visionary Lions Club are $100 unless you are applying for a category based discount.
