Justice For Cameroon Application
The mission of Justice For Cameroon is to empower, unify, and amplify the voices of Cameroonians globally through spreading awareness about the Anglophone crisis and its root causes.

We have a vision of there being a peaceful end to the crisis with a resolution that prioritizes the demands of the people of the Northwest and Southwest regions of Cameroon. We want to see concrete steps towards restructuring the political system that includes all relevant stakeholders to achieve a sustainable solution that respects the rights and freedoms of all of the people of Cameroon.

4 Core Objectives:

a. Raise funds for organizations that are working in Cameroon on the fronts of education, resource distribution and peace building.

b. Create productive conversations among the Cameroonian diaspora.

c. Increase global awareness and media coverage of the Anglophone crisis.

d. Make information more accessible so that people can take action
The Core 5 Values of Justice For Cameroon are:

5 Core Values
Inclusivity - Making sure that Justice includes all kinds of people no matter place of birth, sexual orientation, or any other factor.

Persistence -  Understanding that this is a marathon and not a sprint. Change will not happen overnight but we will see it over time with every small step forward.

Integrity -  Doing the right thing, always.

Equity - Making sure justice is equitable and everybody gets the opportunity for restoration and rehabilitation.

Solidarity - Believing that unity across Cameroonians in Cameroon and across the diaspora is essential to bringing this conflict to an end.

Committee Program Manager - As a program manager, you are responsible for delegating tasks to your committee in order to accomplish quarterly milestones. You are also responsible for working with the Executive members to create quarterly plans and goals. An example task may be to schedule and facilitate regular committee meetings. Another example task may be to establish KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for your committee.

Mobilization Committee Member
- As a member of this committee, you will be responsible for researching and implementing ways we can mobilize our community. An example task may be to create a petition or lobby a congressman.

Social Media Committee Member - You will be a part of the team handling and curating Justice For Cameroon's social media platforms. This includes Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. An example of a task you may receive in this committee is creating plans to increase Instagram engagement through interactive stories.

Public Relations Committee Member -  As a member of this committee, you will be responsible for handling and organizing all of Justice For Cameroon's communications with our community, other organizations, and influencers.  An example task may be, reaching out to an NGO and planning a collaboration between their team and ours.

Research and Recent News Committee Member - As a member of this committee, you will be responsible for researching and creating reports on the current and past events surrounding the crisis. The members of this committee work hand in hand with the social media committee to research the content used to create informative posts

Operations Manager - As the Operations manager, you will be responsible for overseeing meetings by documenting attendance, and taking minutes. You will also be in charge of facilitating regular scrum meetings with the Program Managers to ensure that projects are on track to meet their deadlines, by removing blockers and escalating disputes to the executive level. An example task may be to unblock the social media manager by following up with the head of the PR committee to give approval to contact an influencer.

All positions listed are part-time and can be worked into a busy schedule. Most of our members are current students.
