Working Title 
Key Literature.  
List between 8 and  12 key papers from the last 3 years that will form the basis of the  research published in ABS Ranked Journals https://charteredabs.org/academic-journal-guide-2021/ (ensuring that that all papers are referenced correctly). 
Background Discussion/Literature Review. 
Provide a brief literature review  (linking to key literature cited above). 
Motivation. Clearly state WHY you want to do the research (i.e. its aims,  importance, policy relevance, etc.) and WHAT are the original contributions your  research will make to existing ACADEMIC knowledge. (This should be about two pages .) 
Research Question/Hypothesis. Detail WHAT research you want to undertake  (i.e. the research question/questions to be answered and/or hypothesis/hypotheses to  be tested).). 

Methodology and data/information requirements. Describe the methodology that will be used, clearly stating HOW you propose to undertake the research (i.e. the  economics/econometrics/analytical methodology they would employ) / HOW you will attempt to  answer your research question/questions and/or test your hypothesis/hypotheses. Also, where appropriate, give details of the data/information required and the sources.  (This should be somewhere between two and five pages)
