Council questions must be submitted in writing by 12 noon seven clear working days before the day of the next ordinary meeting of the Council. Please see the deadlines for each meeting indicated on the Council's website.                                    
Public questions at meetings of Strategic Committees (Corporate and Resources, People or Place Committees) must be submitted by two clear working days prior to the meeting, not including the day of the meeting. No more than two questions shall be submitted by an individual at each meeting.
Public questions at meetings of Neighbourhood Committees (except meetings of Neighbourhood Planning Sub-Committees, which are governed by separate rules for public speaking) do not need to be pre-registered, but notice of intention to ask questions will be welcome.
