For Mediators: Answer 3 Questions for the  #AskAMediator Newsletter
Dear Mediator colleagues,

The mission of the #AskAMediator Newsletter is to help make mediation more accessible by demystifying how mediators help people achieve peaceable resolutions, and by sharing the dialogue tools we use.

Whether you are a new or a seasoned mediator, your answers are valued! And short answers are perfect. :)

Please find below three questions I am currently looking to answer in future Newsletters. (This form closes on 30th Nov.)

By completing this form you are giving me permission to share your input as a mediator colleague - and you will be given the choice as to how I quote you. Your privacy is respected.

Thank you so very much for your answers, which I do believe will help raise awareness about the positive benefits of the important work we do.

All best wishes,

Arabella

[For info] What is the name I can quote your answers by in the Newsletter? eg Your real name (Arabella Tresilian, or Arabella T.), a nickname (PeaceWrangler123) or 'Anon'.
[For info] In which year did you start practising as a mediator? (approx is fine)
[For info] Where are you based? (City, county or country is fine)
What are your top 3 recommended books/resources on conflict resolution? [Ideally share recommendations suitable for clients/parties, as opposed to for mediators only.]
What sort of mediation do you do? Who is typically involved and what are they sorting out? This question is partly aimed at addressing the misconception that 'all mediation = family/divorce mediation', and instead aims to show the variety of mediation types (including family!). A succinct sentence or two would be wonderful.
What inspired you to train as a mediator? [Please share a few words about your background pre-mediation and what prompted you to get into the field.]
[For info] Do you have any suggestions for future questions that the #AskAMediator Newsletter could usefully pose?
Thank you!

Thank you so much for your answers. They are much appreciated, and I hope together we can help make mediation ever more accessible, understandable and inviting to an ever wider community.

Please consider subscribing to the #AskAMediator Newsletter to see your answer in print and to receive future editions in your inbox: http://eepurl.com/dmixCL

Best wishes, and many thanks,
