Dear Members and Friends of Trinity Church,

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that God may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on God because God cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7

The year 2020 has certainly been a time of trial and tribulations. As a church, we have embraced the value of our community, by seeking ways to stay connected and committed to our mission. We have humbled ourselves individually and collectively to hear God, and to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in how we worship, minister, and move forward. We have learned new skills to continue to worship each Sunday, stepped out of our comfort zones and we humbly believe and place our trust in a mighty God who “cares for us,” and leads us on as we thrive spiritually as one body of Christ.  

Trinity Church’s mission is to to fill its people with the love of God and share God's love in all the world. God is transforming each of our lives, and the lives of so many others because of our steadfast commitment to this mission.

Due to COVID-19 and other circumstances, our church family has faced sadness and loss, pain, and illness as a community, and yet, here we are growing, loving, and believing in our “Jehovah Jireh” …our God who provides!  When our church could be facing dire financial strain due to the economic impact of COVID-19 on people's personal finances and their ability to give, we humbly acknowledge that our God is good, and that God has created a way, and we are blessed!

As is in our church’s nature, despite the relentless challenges we faced this year, we humbly continue to live our calling to do God’s work by finding new and creative ways to provide education, socialization, meals, support, outreach and companionship in our communities and beyond. At every turn we believe in God’s provision, and our hearts, minds, and lives are filled with gratitude.

We will be talking more over the coming weeks about how we as a congregation are committed and steadfast in our desire to answer God’s call to stay the course, in spite of the many worldly challenges we face; we must press on in our mission. In times such as these, will you please pray, and ask God how you can increase your financial commitment to the work we do to bring the love of Jesus to as many as possible. Equally as important, would you please pray how God can use the spiritual gifts placed in you to help reach those around us with the Good News.

Your pledge for 2021 will greatly help us in planning how to allocate our funds to do God’s work.
