The winter is long - curling makes it better! We are committed to getting as many people curling and having a great time as possible throughout the winter months. Volunteer commitments are short and are a huge help to the club! This survey is only 5 minutes long - we appreciate your time.

If you were to volunteer with us, which role(s) might interest you? (selecting the options below does not mean you are committing - selecting the options means you are interested in learning more)

Bartender - Be the star of the rink! We need many servers throughout the year. TIME: Typically a 4 hour shift

Christmas Lights Tour - (pending) Dec 21st and Dec 22nd. Work the gate for this great community event. 100% of gate entry proceeds come back to the club

Board of Directors - Steer the future of our curling club! 3 year term. 1 meeting per month during curling season.

Newcomer Coach/Helper - Show those new to Canada how friendly and fun curling can be! TIME: 2 hours/year

Youth Coach/Helper - Pass your wisdom onto the next generation! TIME: 1.5 hours/week only on Wednesdays

Adult Coach/Helper - Share your wisdom with YOUR generation! TIME: 1-3 hours/month

Ice Maintenance - Help bonspiels and special events run smoothly and efficiently. Training provided. TIME: 1-2 hours/month

Event Promoter/Recruiter - Call or have face-to-face discussions with schools and key stakeholders when an event is coming up. Encourage participation! TIME: 1-3 hours/month

Social Media - Want to give a new platform a try? Let us know! TIME: 1-2 hours/month

Building Maintenance - Help us keep the rink looking its best. Painters, designers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, engineers or handy people. TIME: Depends on the project.

Restaurant volunteer - Help Penny in the kitchen, especially during larger catering events. TIME: A few hours

Curling Day in Canada Festival Volunteer - numerous positions to fill for Feb 24th, 2024
