Submit to the Highland Piper

Thank you for considering submitting your work! Here at the Highland Piper, we work to inform staff and students about Shorecrest and its place in our community and world. As a student written, edited, and designed newspaper publication, we value the impact of young people and strive to nurture our influence through the dedicated practice of writing, interviewing, and researching. It is our mission to provide accurate, detailed, and unbiased information that represents unique opinions and diverse groups of people.

We are accepting all journalistic pieces from Shorecrest students. Examples include opinions, movie/book reviews, comics or cartoons, informative articles, interviews, and more. Your work may be published on our website (https://highlandpiper-sc.com) and featured on our Instagram (@sc.highland.piper)

All pieces will be fact-checked and edited by Piper staff. We will reach out to you within 1 week of your submission.

Interested in becoming a Piper staff writer or artist? Join us on Fridays during lunch in room M187! No experience necessary! We'd love to have you on the team.
