Perpich Center for Arts Education is hosting two virtual sessions of
Student Engagement in Arts Classes on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. *
*The content is the same for both sessions, so plan to attend only one.**
This session addresses Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies, one of the required topics for renewal of Tier 3 and Tier 4 teaching licenses in Minnesota.
Our presenter is Lori Ledoux. Lori is a licensed dance educator and worked 7 years as an elementary dance specialist. She currently serves as K-12 Arts District Program Facilitator in Minneapolis Public Schools, supporting dance, media, theater, and visual arts. Lori's responsibilities include curriculum design and implementation, arts integration, teacher mentoring and observation, culturally responsive pedagogy, classroom management, and magnet program integration and implementation.
